A very useful kitchen appliance. Easy to operate.

This microwave has been great for normal household use while looking stylish. I had no issues with reheating, and it warmed up leftovers or frozen meals just as well as my higher wattage (albeit older) microwave. In addition, the door handle feels good to use and has a satisfying thud when closing. However, the best part of this microwave is its one touch start buttons, especially the +30 seconds instant start. It was weird at first, but in the future, I don’t think I would get another microwave without these functions should this one fail.

I bought this combination unit to save space on my counters. I love that aspect of it. It does seem to take longer to preheat than a typical air fryer which is understandable considering the airspace is so much larger. The microwave works great and I’m entirely happy with that. The following are points to consider before buying such a unit:
#1. The space is considerable smaller than an oven but gets just as hot. It’s really easy to bump up against the door, sides or rack as you’re reaching in for food. The door only swings open to 90 degrees, so a lot of care is needed not to get burned.
#2. Do you typically use your air fryer and microwave at the same time? Now, you’ll need a bit more planning to get supper on the table since you will have to schedule what cooks when.
#3. Make sure to remove any of the air fryer accessories before using the microwave. And teach the kids exactly what can or can’t go in the unit.
#4. The manual is not user friendly. I gave up on it and have learned a ton more by trial and error.
Overall, the appliance works and I’m happy for the space savings. It does a great job as microwave and an adequate one as an air fryer. I do think most recipes need to be cooked a bit longer at a slightly higher temp than a typical air fryer, but I’m still in the experimental stage.

First off, I want to let the readers that I purchased this from the Amazon Warehouse at a steep discount because they classified it as “Acceptable”. I wasn’t concerned with its physical appearance because it was going to placed on top of my refrigerator to save counterspace. Upon delivery, was pleasantly surprised to see that the cosmetic flaws were minimal. I don’t know what criteria Amazon uses to classifies their warehouse items, but personally I would have gone with “Very good”!

Aside from that, we all know how well microwave ovens perform while cooking and reheating food are based on a few of things. The wattage, the the level of power we set it to function, the time we determine would be needed to get the results we desire and, the whatever it is we are heating up.

For years I’ve accepted that a certain amount of food or beverage requires a certain amount of time to get the results that I needed from my previous microwaves. Essentially ignoring the other functions available to me such as safely defrosting and making a bag of popcorn that is neither burnt nor under popped. I continued to use my refrigerator for defrosting and waited for the kernals popping to be separated by 3 seconds as stated on the popcorn box directions.

But the integration of inverter technology and sensors has been great! By pressing the button to use the inverter and entering the weight of what needs to be heated, I no longer feel the need to defrost in my refrigerator and the microwave oven knows when to stop when the bag of popcorn is done. I don’t even follow the directions on the occasional frozen meal any longer although the traditional options to do so are still available.

Like millions of people, I drink three or four coffees a day. But I prefer to have mine blended with ice making it thick like milkshakes. They’re not unlike Starbucks Frappuccinos. I blend my own each day and separate them into their own container which I keep the freezer. This of course turns them from a creamy blended beverage into a solid chunk of ice. But using the inverter setting on this microwave, each one is restored to its original texture and consistency in about 2.5 minutes!
