These bags are SUPER sturdy, and the unscented version does exactly what its name suggests – masks any kind of scent. When I’ve had to use any other bags, I’ve been appalled at the quality and see through-ness.
My only gripe is that the bags can be tough to open sometimes, so you need to lick your fingers to pull the edges apart.
I also ordered the lavender scent once and really disliked the smell of poop + flowers. Just get the unscented.

I see there are lots of people complaining about having to tear off or open a bag while out with the pet.
Since i know i wont need more than two on his walk i pre open them and put them in my pocket. I suppose they can be put in a holder too.
I have never had an issue taking the seal off as i tear from the opening the first bag toward the rest of the bag. At most a bit of the edge of the top of the first bag has a slight tear.
These have never leaked. The only possible bad thing is picking up larger amounts. I dont mind using more than one when i need to. The thickness feels good when youre using it.

I haven’t found a dog doo bag that is easy to pull off of the roll. Also, I haven’t found a bag that is easy to open, and that could be just user error or incompetence. Those are the only possible negatives about these bags. The bags earned a 4 for sturdiness because, you could, theoretically, put a finger through the plastic, or your dog could bite through the plastic. The latter giving me nightmares of epic proportion.

They do the job, they never tear, and I can verify that they start after about 6 months (maybe less) to biodegrade. If you keep them rolled up the it would take longer, but I had just one in my car’s cupholder for just in-case. I was doing a deep clean on my car and grabbed the bad and it fell apart in about a hundered pieces. I am sure if it was not a single one, but a roll this wouldn’t have happened, good news at least I know they biodegrade.

Between working at a veterinary clinic/boarding facility, petsitting, and my personal dogs, I’ve picked up a lot of dog dookie and I’ve used a lot of different bags to do it. These are by far the best. They’re lightly scented, which is something I like way more than I thought I would. They also are consistently leak-proof. Other brands have the occasional missed seam or poor perforation, causing holes and torn bags. Never Earth Rated! The quality control is top-notch and the bags are durable and opaque, with minimal odor leakage too. Everything you need in a poop bag!
