My wife purchased this for our 4-year-old who just started soccer at the YMCA, just to get some practice in for him. Overall the goal is nice and easy to set up, and does exactly what it needs to do for a youngling. However I have no idea what was in this package while setting up, assuming its fine fiberglass or something, but as I was setting it up I kept feeling like something was stabbing my fingers, even after putting it away I can feel like something got into my fingers.

I bought 2 of these, I put together the first one with no problems. I began putting the second one together and I felt a sharp pain on my hands when trying to put the poles onto the net. Upon close inspection I noticed a broken pole and the other was scratched up exposing fiberglass. Now I have shredded pieces of fiberglass on my hands and it’s extremely painful. If you buy it, make sure you check all poles carefully and preferably with gloves.

I don’t normally write reviews, but my sons love this goal so much that I wanted to come back to leave a review. We got the 12′ by 6′ goal in yellow as a Christmas gift for them – they wanted a full sized soccer goal but I wanted something affordable and my husband wanted something easy to move when he needs to mow the yard. This has been perfect for our 8 and 10 year olds. They feel like it’s big enough to really practice their skills but it is also easy for them to set it up, move it, and do the stakes into the ground without help. We had a pole somehow break and the seller offered to send us a replacement part when I reached in – super pleasant and easy! Highly recommend
